Eastworks is located in the old Stanley Home Products factory on Pleasant Street in Easthampton. Stanhome made a variety of household products including cosmetics, cleaners, and mops. Parts of the building still have the old factory equipment that was left behind. Soapstone countertops and metal conveyor belts were even used in decorating in the Apollo Grill, lending to the restaurant's eclectic flavor.
The building was originally one of several buildings that made up the complex of West Boylston Co., a textile company that left Easthampton in the 1920's. There have been several owners since then, including General Electric.
Will Bundy purchased the complex in 1997, creating Eastworks.
